The RA-10 may be secured to any surface by either wood/metal screws or double-sided adhesive tape. Pinch the cover portion of the case at the sides slightly and slide off. Mount the cover to the desired surface, connect the lead wires to the terminal strip and slip the main assembly onto the cover. Again, it may be necessary to slightly pinch the sides.For normal telephone operation, connect the incoming leads (tip and ring) to terminals 1 and 3. Remove the existing ringer from the telephone.
For alarm applications involving AC signals, connect the incoming leads to terminals 1 and 2. For alarm applications involving DCR signals, connect the incoming lines to terminals 1 and 4.
