The 2020A compliments the 2020N noise generator. It provides private communication between two to four participants. Either six internal "AA" Alkaline batteries or an external 110-220V/50-60HZ AC supply power the unit.TO OPERATE: Plug in the headsets and position the microphone close to the lips. Rotate all volume controls fully counterclockwise (minimum). Turn the power ON. Slowly rotate each volume control clockwise until the desired audio level is obtained. Do not talk loudly. If the 2020N is used, place it two to four feet from the 2020A. Operate the unit only for short periods of time when using the internal batteries. Use the AC power supply for prolonged applications. When using the AC adapter, make sure the 110/220 Volt switch on the back is in the proper position. Do not attempt to change the switches on the front. To replace the batteries, remove the two screws from the sides of the unit and carefully lift off the cover. Disconnect the battery holder, properly dispose of the old batteries, insert fresh batteries (making sure they are properly seated) and reconnect the holder. Replace the cover being careful not to pinch the battery wires. As with any piece of battery operated electronic equipment, remove the batteries during periods of prolonged storage.
